Low-Maintenance Outdoor Oasis

SassyGrass created a serene, low-maintenance outdoor retreat for a client in Purcell who wanted a functional and beautiful yard that required minimal upkeep. This project emphasized thoughtful landscaping and smart drainage solutions while ensuring the space remained inviting and manageable.

Work Performed:

Weed Removal and Seasonal Cleanup: Cleared weeds, trimmed back springtime perennials, and removed disorganized or dead shrubbery for a refreshed look.

Shrub and Tree Care: Shaped and trimmed existing shrubbery, raised tree canopies for better visibility, and removed a large evergreen tree to open up the space.

Walkway Restoration: Pulled up the flagstone walkway, cleaned out the space, and reinstalled the flagstone with mortar for a stable and polished pathway.

Improved Drainage: Raised soil levels to promote proper water flow, installed new gutter drains, and connected them to a French drain line to ensure the yard stays dry and functional.

Sod Installation: Added lush, even sod to create a vibrant, low-maintenance lawn.

This Oklahoma City yard now provides a relaxing space with reduced maintenance requirements, perfectly suited for the homeowner’s lifestyle.
