SassyGrass partnered with The Railhouse Event Center in Norman, Oklahoma, to elevate its outdoor spaces, creating a welcoming and stylish atmosphere that aligns with the venue’s upscale, industrial charm. From redesigning the front flower beds to constructing a secure and visually striking outdoor area, this project was all about enhancing functionality and aesthetics for a memorable event experience.

Work Performed:

Front Flower Bed Refresh:

Cleared and leveled the existing flower beds, removing dead plants, old mulch, weeds, and debris.
Cleaned and repurposed existing rock to reduce costs while maintaining a polished appearance.
Designed and installed a low-maintenance landscape with drought-tolerant plants that fit the "upscale railhouse" theme.
Trimmed trees, laid fresh mulch, and added decorative pots to frame the main entryway.

Back Alley Outdoor Space Upgrade:

Addressed the venue’s ongoing challenges by installing a tall 8’ black steel privacy fence, designed to resemble a boxcar and securely anchored with deep concrete piers to withstand Oklahoma winds.
Created a safe and private environment that complemented The Railhouse’s industrial aesthetic.

Elegant Event Landscaping:

Installed columnar evergreen trees for a timeless and versatile landscape that enhances any event style.

Artificial Turf Installation:

Replaced the hard asphalt with artificial turf to create a comfortable, inviting space for patrons to stand, dance, and enjoy events for hours.

Outcome:
The Railhouse Event Center now boasts a revitalized, functional outdoor space that is both beautiful and practical, perfectly suited for hosting unforgettable events. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a lively celebration, this venue is ready to impress!
